ONE-NIGHT-ONLY FREE CONCERT FEATURES TWO WORLD PREMIERE COMMISSIONS !

Celebrating the Chinese New Year, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office of New York (HKETO), in partnership with Chicago's Fulcrum Point New Music Project, proudly present the North American debut of the Windpipe Chinese Ensemble, direct from Hong Kong.

Hong Kong at the Fulcrum Point Celebrates The Year of the Tiger - a free one-night-only performance - will showcase two World Premieres commissioned specifically for this concert event, including one composition which accompanies a video presentation of award-winning Chinese Manga comic artist Lee Chi-ching creating a unique tiger-themed painting.

While the concert is free and open to the public, e-tickets must be reserved in advance by emailing rsvp@fulcrumpoint.org. Limit four e-tickets per person, and requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis.

Gianandrea Noseda, chief conductor of the BBC Philharmonic, is joined by celebrated pianist Radu Lupu in a program featuring Beethoven’s revered Third Concerto and Rachmaninov’s breathtaking Symphony No. 1.
